I've been rained on before but this storm was unforgettable. Our tent shook and the water came down in sheets. My brothers and I were miserable. When I woke up in the morning, I had little hope for capturing the sunrise from our backcountry campsite. Then a small glimmer of light split through the grey sky. The fog cleared and the granduer of the legendary cirque of the towers was revealed.
