Mt. Timpanogos is an icon of Utah Valley and one of the area's most famous hikes. I backpacked into this location and found this small rock garden with an array of different wildflower species all in bloom. The clearing storm clouds parted and the summit of Timpanogos began to glow with golden hour light. It was pure magic, but it only lasted for a few minutes before the sun set. The next day I watched a herd of mountain goats stomp through and eat many of the flowers. Good thing I got a photo of everything before it was gone.
